LEFT ARM
Left Arm - Foundation of Heaven's Blessing Left Hand - Xanadu Matrix Has the ability to reproduce his many miracles. His arms that have inspired hope for his believers through its continuous miracles have become Noble Phantasms. Similar to his right arm, it is a Noble Phantasm used upon himself. It has the ability to connect to all Thaumaturgy Foundations, allowing him to effectively use any sort of Magecraft with its Almighty Key Skeleton Key. By linking to the foundation of all forms of magecraft, these Noble Phantasms make it possible to use, to a certain degree, even magecraft that the user shouldn’t know of except as general knowledge. They are handy and convenient Noble Phantasms, but even if Shirou was summoned as a Caster, he still wouldn’t stand a chance against a first-rate magus like Medea. However, this modest blessing of being able to use any magecraft without needing to master them becomes a critical tool for his plots with his application. His left arm has an ability similar to the "Eye of the Mind (False)" skill, a natural talent to avoid danger on the basis of an innate 6th sense, intuition, or prescience, where accuracy of instinct has been augmented by experience—somewhat overcoming the problem of visual obstructions that appear in the course of combat. By combining the two, the arms strengthen his Baptism Rite. The left arm allows for reinforcement and strengthening of his body. It has the effects of "eternal youth", allowing him to withstand over half a century without aging even while incarnated. RIGHT ARM
Right Arm: Wickedness Predation Right Hand: Evil Eater Has the ability to reproduce his many miracles. His arms that have inspired hope for his believers through its continuous miracles have become Noble Phantasms. Similar to his left arm, it is a Noble Phantasm used upon himself. His right arm possesses an ability similar to the "Eye of the Mind (True)" skill, a heightened capacity for observation, refined through experience. The difference between Eye of the Mind (True) and Eye of the Mind (False) lies in that the former is an ability that humans can obtain through accumulation of experience. The 'False' version is superficially similar, but in fact represents a natural instinct that cannot be obtained regardless of effort or experience—even though experience can refine its accuracy. By combining the two, the arms strengthen his Baptism Rite. The right arm gives him supportive abilities such as Precognition, the ability to perceive the future. Future Prediction is the ability to unconsciously gather information about one's surroundings and, comparing it to past events and experiences, to use it to predict future events and their outcomes. TWIN ARM
By connecting both arms to the leylines, excessive magical energy is inserted in the magic circuits of both arms and made to rampage. A destruction-type Noble Phantasm that purifies dark matter and swallows all beings on the surroundings. Because it requires an excessively vast magical energy, originally it is impossible to employ it as a Noble Phantasm. In order to completely impel it as Noble Phantasm, he must first somehow establish a magic energy supply route different from his Master. WEAPONS
Black Keys of the Eighth Sacrament A sacrament of the Church, used against demons and vampires. Able to call forth the original laws of nature vampires were subject to as humans, thus preventing them from healing the wounds made with this weapon. Emphasized on the ability to intervene spiritually against "evil", they focus less on physical attack power, even affecting powerful spirits like Servants to some degree should they be struck. It is not enough to inflict any sort of fatal injury to them no matter how much energy is put into them, but the can be used to distract or pin them for a brief moment under the right circumstances. Those used by Kotomine Shirou are noted to be much more powerful and "abnormal". They take the form of long and slender rapier-like swords with blades measuring over one meter and extremely short hilts, looking more likely to be used to thrust than slash at the opponent. Weighing one kilo, they are too thick and oddly-balanced, feeling heavier towards the tip, to use as melee weapons in general, and they seem more like dirks made into swords or arrows even to someone who does not know of their true nature. With low effectiveness as swords despite their appearance, and their great length, their true usage is exclusively as throwing weapons likened to bullets rather than for swordplay. Being half-spiritual, they can naturally pierce even iron. Miike Tenta Mitsuyo Formerly the favored blade of a Yagyū Jūbei Mitsuyoshi. Due to it being an "incredibly famous sword", it has become equivalent to a C-rank Noble Phantasm, described to be a "magnificently sharp" blade that accumulated a great amount of blood in its lifetime. It is a Japanese sword with an iron scabbard, sharing the traditional shape but also carrying "various aspects" imbued by the soul of the swordsmith. Compared to "beautiful and lovely blades that possess a shine worthy of being called works of art", the sword is a " broadminded and deadly blade" that "specializes in cutting something." It is first-rate sword, acknowledged as such by even Servants with their wide-ranging perspectives on all kinds of weapons. It carries the magical energy normally found in Noble Phantasms and allows even a human to fight on par with a Servant. |

PERSONALITY
—Shirou Tokisada Amakusa's last prayer In his lifetime, Shirou walked the path of suffering and despair. He and his comrades fought for their faith and beliefs, and in return, they failed and died. He once hated everything, from God to humans. He claims that he hated humans, not because they had killed him or his comrades, but how humanity easily accepted it as a repeating system in history where life is priceless yet has no value. He finds humanity to be just like Ouroboros, eating themselves in order to grow. Shirou admitted to his failure, his mortality and his guilt. So, he forsook his heart filled with hatred, for the sake of humankind's salvation. He claims he does not hate humanity anymore, and that he will save the current six billion people and the people from past and future. He desires to make use of the Holy Grail to fulfill his own ambition. He simply wished the happiness of all mankind, for innate goodness to be found in the heart of all humanity and the annihilation of Angra Mainyu: All the Evils of the World. He is a young man of sociable and gentle demeanor. He thinks long-term to the point of abnormality, and his behavior sometimes seems strangely calculating. Rather than creating a solid wall between himself and others, he always creates distance by being just barely un-antagonistic, and is the type to ensure a relationship doesn’t become too close. If there were someone who could shorten the distance between themselves and him, it would be someone who has the strength to support his ideology. HISTORY
Fate/Apocrypha spoilers follow. Amakusa Shirou Tokisada was the teenage boy who lead the greatest uprising in the early Edo period, the “Shimabara Rebellion.” At the time, the peasants of Shimabara were suffering under heavy taxes implemented by the feudal lord, Matsukura Shigemasa. The reason for the unforgiving tribunals was sloppy land inspections accounting for said tribunals being more than twice the original crop yield. Not only was there this annual tribute, but population taxes added on to that as a way for the lord to squeeze out every yen made the exasperated peasantry leap to action— the Shimabara Rebellion, said to be the largest civil war during the Edo period, excluding the Bakumatsu period, then broke out. And within that rebellion, there existed a spiritual leader. For the oppressed Christians, he was a child of miracles. Just like a saint, he possessed the power to walk on water, heal wounds, and command birds. These were actions not possible for humans, but miracles only attainable by a saint. His name was Amakusa Shirou Tokisada. It is unclear how much command this teenage boy held in the rebellion. But in any case, there is no doubt his position was top ranking or close to there. ……I heard the voice of heaven, the boy murmured. In this way, the boy believed in happiness. Explaining was too difficult, but it was not necessary. Those who looked up to him as a leader fought in accordance with those words. —Was it greed, or did he go too far? And - he refused the suggestion of “By killing yourself, the rebellion will resolve itself;” was it because he was of the opinion that everyone should fight, if the Edo Shogunate got serious? In the tragedy following the Shimabara Rebellion, it is said that 37,000 people were killed by the shogunate forces (though some accounts differ). Amakusa Shirou Tokisada was, too, beheaded. ……In becoming a Servant, what Amakusa Shirou Tokisada seeks is the salvation of humanity. His wish is toward all of humanity, regardless of good or evil. For that purpose, he can wait even sixty years. The incineration of humanity is nigh, but he will not mention that desire— |
